“there is something for everyone to come and enjoy!” – Cambridgeshire Live

If you’re a lover of folk music, the Cambridge Folk Festival is a must visit this summer! The festival will be taking place between 1st-4th August and has been held every year since 1965, making it one of the oldest folk festivals in the world.

Hosted at the beautiful Cherry Hinton Hall, a mere 15 minutes from Cambridge’s stunning city centre, Cambridge Folk Festival is renowned for its unique and friendly vibe. On offer is an array first-grade musical talent as well as workshops, sessions and performances for young musicians to engage in.

This year’s line-up includes Lucinda Williams, José González, Nick Mulvey, Richard Thompson and Ralph McTell with many more acts to be announced. Alongside these big names will be new emerging stars who will be showcasing their talent over at The Den stage.

Just like the Cambridge Folk Festival are committed to reducing their carbon footprint (they won A Greener Festival Award in 2016), Tuned in Travel are determined to reduce the negative effects of audience travel which is why we guarantee to balance 100% of all our passenger’s carbon emissions.
