The Onsite Transport Assistant works as part of a wider team to ensure the smoothing running of vehicles arrivals and departures at festivals and events.
The responsibilities of this role include:
• Arriving to all shifts in plenty of time.
• Build and break down of the arrival and departure areas.
• Responsible for looking after TINT equipment.
• Checking passengers travel documentation.
• Selling travel tickets, where required.
• Crowd management: keeping passenger within safe areas.
• Assisting customers with any queries.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Helping to tidy vehicles once passengers have disembarked.
• Working quickly to resolve any issues.
Paid roles will be required to work longer and more frequent hours than volunteer roles.
Personal Specification
The successful candidate will be brimming with energy and enthusiasm. You’ll be a confident communicator, logistical thinker, and happy to help with a smile.
Previous experience is not essential but is desired.
